Job Summary:



The AVP, Marketing Communications is responsible for conceptualizing and delivering meaningful internal marketing communications initiatives that support employee engagement, organizational communications and enhance Allied World’s brand internally.



Job Duties




  • Primarily support Allied World’s global HR team on a wide range of internal communications programs.

  • Develop and execute internal culture and public relations campaigns via several channels (email, intranet, videos, web presentations, etc.) to foster positive employee engagement.

  • Develop and execute employee technical communications around policies, procedures, benefits, wellness programs and more; internally promote learning and development initiatives.

  • Elevate branding and content for employee recruitment collateral, on-boarding materials, and welcome kits.

  • Support leadership with message development and delivery for company-wide updates, formal announcements, and presentation development, as requested.

  • Assist with crisis or change management communications, as requested.

Requirements:




  • A university degree in marketing or communications.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing or corporate communications.

  • Excellent communications, writing and organizational skills are paramount for success.

  • Demonstrated experience in writing content for newsletters, presentations or similar.  

  • Ability to develop and execute a project from inception to completion with minimal oversight or assistance.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Working knowledge of social media platforms.

  • Absolutely necessary to be flexible to meet deadlines or work longer hours when necessary to meet objectives.
