Position Overview

The purpose of this high impact position is to lead key analytics and data science for FEMSA/Waxie/North American organization.  With the evolving organization, there are needs for strong analytic, communication and leadership ability to deliver against key initiatives.  The role will inherit disparate systems and data reporting with the intent of driving an improve data analytics infrastructure.  The roll in the first six months will be paired with 3rd party consulting firms to drive direction and momentum but will ultimately own the analytic arm our organization.  The focus will be on synergies in acquisition cost and optimization of pricing but will expand to other supply chain and value drivers.  This role will have exposure cross-functionally across North American, Waxie and FEMSA.  The role will report to the VP of Category Management at North American.

The role intent is to deliver against these key integration initiatives that are required to expand and improve the value-added services and support offered within the larger North American – Waxie organization to our prospective and existing customers.

Responsibilities Include:

Data and System Analytics Platform

• Lead strategy and development of analytic platform from data synchronization to analytics.


• Liaison with 3rd party consulting firm in first 12 months to co-develop direction and solution.


• Develop and maintain BI/algorithms to iteratively analyze enterprise cost and price data towards profit optimization.


• Support data synchronization efforts on master databases including item cross-reference, substitutions and reporting module for e-commerce, procurement, and sales.


• Aid in business requirement definition, project management and implementation of revised processes and new reporting across the platform within analytics realm.

Synergy Delivery

• Support analytic efforts to identify targeted areas of synergy; Communicate opportunities and track progress.


• Work closely with North American & Waxie Business Intelligence and Category teams to develop proficiency on product and data knowledge.


• Summarize findings towards joint merchandising with the North American – Waxie bundle of current products.

Sales Operations

• Integration and support of the larger Sales Operations team for sales enhancing applications, CRM, etc. to drive analytical tools to sales associates.


• Support management reporting and analytics for sales and operations leadership including financial reporting, budgeting and KPI reporting.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of Management Consulting.


• 1-2 years in integration / synergy work.


• 3-5 years of business intelligence reporting.


• Excellent communication & project management skills.


• Excellent in Microsoft Applications.
