Ace Relocation Systems, Inc. is currently seeking experienced local hourly Class A drivers for our Upper Marlboro, MD branch.  Hourly pay rate is $25 per hour. 

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF JOB:
Inventory, protect, load and unload and transport household goods and other commercial freight.  THIS IS NOT A DOCK-TO-DOCK JOB.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Have an acceptable motor vehicle record
• Must be 23 years of age
• Have the ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations, handle receipts, read maps, road signs and maintain logs
• Be able to read, write and speak English
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations
• Meet the physical standards of the DOT
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment, random, post-accident and reasonable cause drug and alcohol tests and physical test.
• Preparing paperwork associated with shipments.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Auditory ability to converse on the telephone and with customers without assistance
• Ability to lift 100 lbs. without assistance
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs. over the head without assistance
• Lift, pull, push and carry household goods and other freight of varying weights over long distance, rough terrain or up and down stairs.
