We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to perform daily accounts payable tasks and data entry. The ideal candidate will be incredibly detail orientated and a fast learner.
The Accounts Payable Clerk responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Receive, verify and process high volumes of vendor invoices
Accurately process inventory related invoices against purchase orders
Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to invoice balances
Match invoices being paid to payment advice lists
Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
Monitors the accounts payable group emails and promptly researches and responds to inquiries
Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
Follows up with vendors and/or internal departments to locate any missing invoices and credit memos
Reviews and audits credit card transactions, and verifies receipts have been submitted for all transactions
Performs data entry associated with accounts payable
Scan and file invoices and accounting documents
Opens and distributes mail and assists with outgoing mail
Assist with other departmental tasks as needed and provide backup support to the Accounts Payable Specialist
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience in Related Field, Skills, etc.):
2-3 year's work experience in an accounts payable or similar environment
Must be incredibly detail orientated and have the ability to effectively communicate with vendors
Strong technical skills
Be extremely organized and have excellent time management skills
Exhibit sound and accurate judgment
Strong work ethic
