Job Description:

The Role

As our Customer Sales Analyst, you will assist the Walmart Sales Lead in the day-to-day management of planning and monitoring executional objectives, while also serving as the primary architect and administrator for all category/segment/item level reporting. You will have direct contact with a variety of functions at Walmart, including Planning, Merchandising and Replenishment, as well as internally, including Sales/Account Management, Replenishment, Demand Planning, Logistics and Marketing.

You will...

  • Be responsible for weekly analysis and reporting, to include:
    • Managing internal reports, such as scorecards, POS, Inventory and POS Forecasts for Walmart U.S. and Canada
    • Managing external reports including weekly recaps of key measures (instocks, units/store/week, key callouts) to be shared with the customer
    • Managing the customer POS Forecast review
    • Tracking sell-through performance for all features and off-mod promotional items
  • Analyze promotional performance as compared to expectations/investment
  • Create market basket analysis and other identified analytics and supporting insights
  • Manage item creation/maintenance as well as online item set ups; assist in E-commerce data scrubs on all online product content and resolve issues
  • Assist with maintaining and updating modular and promotional recaps as well as with the completion of modular assessments
  • Work directly with Sales, Replenishment and internal Planning teams by providing analytical data for new item and promotional performance planning
  • Assist with providing sales and analytical insights for presentation development for all Line Reviews, customer touch base meetings and semi-annual internal strategy meetings

What You Bring to the Team
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience, to include working with Walmart and/or at a Walmart supplier
  • A bachelor's degree
  • Retail Link and Walmart.com experience
  • The ability to manage a high volume of SKUs (200+) while also completing several critical projects and requests
  • An aptitude for utilizing data, insights and resources to develop a compelling, fact-based story
  • The ability to think strategically, innovatively and creatively using sound business judgment and quantitative skills
  • A team-orientation with the ability to work collaboratively and in a high-performance environment
  • An excellent attention to detail and a solution-oriented way of thinking
