Position Summary

Performs all general warehousing functions and special projects as required. Job responsibilities encompasses a variety of functions to include order selection and the removal of spacers from blast frozen products and/or stamping product.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The associate is frequently exposed to moving machinery. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Essential Duties:

May perform any of the following tasks depending on the department assigned:

· Insert and remove spacers for blast freezing.
· Stamp boxes with products
· Performs all docks sanitation duties (requires sweeping and/or emptying of trash containers) to include freezer, dock space and areas adjacent to any part of the building.
· Assist with inventory functions such as cycle counting, product relocation and physical inventories.
· Palletizes cargo from containers or trailers according to warehouse specifications. Makes sure to use proper type of pallets for unloading.
· Perform special projects as required.

Work with a team of warehouse personnel to support the handling of customer products from receipt to shipment.

· Adhere to all safety policies, regulations and practices
· Perform other duties as assigned


Working Conditions:
· Fast paced cold and wet environment.
· Food facility requires food safe behavior.
· Utilize computer and other tools to monitor production.
Working Demands:
· Lift, push, pull and grasp up to 48 pounds while standing and kneeling.
· Work in cold conditions from 38°F to 50°F.
· Work in a high traffic area.
Physical Requirements:
· Capable of heavy lifting up to 70 lbs.
· Capable of following written and verbal instructions
· Protective footwear is always required on the premises.
· Safety Sensitive Position
· Plant work is in a cold and wet environment. Must be able to perform tasks and make decisions and communicate under strict time limits.
