An exciting opportunity for a Behavioral Health Hospital Chief Nursing Officer has recently become available with a 12-bed child and adolescent psychiatric hospital in the greater Cleveland metro area.

The Behavioral Health Hospital Chief Nursing Officer will have the opportunity to join an independent, Joint Commission accredited behavioral health hospital specializing in the care of the child and adolescent patient population. The brand new facility is scheduled to open and begin accepting its first patients in the first quarter of 2021. The patients will be transferred to the facility from inpatient psych units at surrounding inpatient acute care hospitals. The hospital has been developed to fill a widening gap in services and to address a growing shortage of beds dedicated to children and adolescent acute mental health needs.

The Behavioral Health Hospital Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the direction and oversight of the quality of patient care by the nursing staff in the behavioral healthcare setting.  The CNO will be accountable for managing human, fiscal, and other resources needed to support clinical nursing practice and positive patient outcomes. They will serve as a strong role model for guidance and direction within the hospital.
