The Maternal Child Health RN Manager will oversee nursing and operations for this comprehensive unit. With 9 labor and delivery beds, 3 antepartum rooms, 2 triage rooms, and 23 post-partum rooms, this unit performs 100+ deliveries monthly, including high risk deliveries. The Nurse Manager of Labor Delivery will have 4 direct reports and manage a dedicated team of 120 staff including nurses, technicians, and support staff. The ideal candidate has strong management skills and experience with high risk deliveries. Reporting to the Director of Labor and Delivery, the Nurse Manager of Labor Delivery is responsible for managing budgetary operations, clinical staff, and for shaping the overall direction for assigned units. The Nurse Manager of Labor Delivery will use their comprehensive clinical and management skills to improve patient care and staff professional development.
