A 200 bed Central Oregon Medical Center is actively seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist.

The Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist will  have experience assisting OR Surgeons and OR Nursing staff ideally in the acute care hospital setting or outpatient surgical setting. 

The Surgical Technologist will be joining a hospital that is home to more than 200 licensed beds.

The CV Operating Room Surgical Technologist will be responsible for

The CV Surgical Technologist will work with a supportive Surgical Services team, and aid OR staff during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist will prepare the surgical supplies and equipment and maintain sterility prior and during surgical procedures. The Surgical Tech will have knowledge of the supplies needed for surgery, surgical cases and anatomy, and will assist with care of sterilized supplies. 6 months of surgical technologist experience is preferred.

The CV Surg Tech will be responsible for assisting surgeons, providers and advanced practitioners during surgical procedures. The Surgical Technologist will maintain a clean and safe work environment as well as follow hospital protocols and procedures. Furthermore, the Surgical Tech will strive to provide high quality service and participate in quality improvement programs. The Surgical Technologist will report directly to Nurse Manager Surgery and Surgical Tech lead.
