Position:  CAD Designer

Location:  McAlester, OK

Position Summary:

The CAD Designer / Draftsman will create shop fabrication drawings and bill of materials for floating boat docks. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Input project material quantities into Infor Visual ERP database.


• Design floating dock projects


• Generate all necessary AutoCad drawings


• Produce project installation instruction packages


• Review all contract drawings and specifications


• Work with Senior Project Manager/ Project Managers to make project design changes


• Create shop fabrication drawings and Bill of Materials for Shop Foreman & Plant Operations Manager


• Input project material quantities into Infor Visual ERP database


• Assist Shop Foremen during project fabrication process


• Assist with monthly plant inventory


• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 3 years CAD systems experience


• Preference is for AutoCAD experience but will train the right candidate


• Detail oriented.


• Able and willing to check work to drive mistakes to minimum


• Experience entering manufacturing information into an ERP system or Material Requirements Planning system preferred


• Prefer mechanical experience in design and fabrication
