Summary

Snappy Air Distribution Products a MiTek Inc., a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Company is hiring for 2nd shift!

Performs as necessary and/or as instructed, various duties which includes but is not limited to, duties or work requirements normally performed by production employees, such as handling parts, materials, manufacturing of parts, operating production machinery and equipment, general warehouse duties, quality, safety, housekeeping and/or other duties as requested.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

RINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS:

• Perform various assigned repetitive operations to form and assemble sheet metal products utilizing a variety of tools and equipment that meet or exceed production requirements.
• Make simple setups and operate sheet metal machines and equipment to fabricate and form parts. Use machines such as presses, shears, riveters, rollers, benders, notchers, etc.
• Identify, eliminate and reject all materials or products that do not meet overall product quality standards.
• Perform job functions according to prescribed safety rules and plant regulations.
• Performs all other duties as required and in accordance with standard operating

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day, 4-6 days per week
• Ability to wear and work with personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, squat, bend, twist
• Must be able to lift min 35 lbs
• Ability to work indoors in hot or cold weather, exposed to dust and chemicals
• Good team player who can work under moderate supervision
• Regular attendance on the job site is required
