The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy to engage clients across the Financial services segments.

What you'll be doing

This role will increase awareness, generate leads, enable sales and requires extensive collaboration across multiple teams including product management, sales, and marketing communications, PR and events teams.


  • Size, evaluate and prioritize specific market segments for deeper sales and marketing focus.
  • Develop value propositions and messaging aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute awareness and lead generation campaigns through advertising, emails, promotions, events and PR.
  • Train and enable sales AEs with talk tracks and prioritizations.
  • A clear understanding of marketing KPI's and optimization techniques. Integrate benchmarking, performance objectives, and ROI reporting into marketing activities to ensure programs are targeted and effective.
  • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge of trends, technologies and best practices on an ongoing basis.

What your background looks like


  • 10+ years in strategic B2B product marketing roles, ideally in financial and/or business services.
  • Marketing and/or sales within a tele-sales call center environment a plus.
  • Proven success in marketing - i.e. can point to specific product packaging, positioning and demand generation initiatives in new/adjacent markets which led to meaningful revenue growth.
  • Strong project management, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Key qualitative attributes: solid blend between critical and creative thinking; outstanding communications; inspires and teams with others; goes the extra mile in getting things done right; at ease spanning across immediate team boundaries; can simultaneously execute in the near-term and plan across longer time horizons.
  • Advanced knowledge of email campaigns, SEO, CRM, Omniture and marketing automation tools a plus.
  • Excellent PC skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Undergraduate degree, MBA a plus.
