ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To lead a shift within a business unit in the delivery of manufacturing performance targets for customer satisfaction, quality, costs and production in a safe working environment.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS • Safety Regulation knowledge WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Generating NCR for non-conforming materials.
• Initiating Non-Conformance Resolution.
• Evaluating NCR.
• Assuring materials are available.
• Identifying resources availability for Packaging.
• Monitoring process and quality performance.
• Managing non-Conformances through the NCR's system.
• Assuring production goals are achieved in Packaging.
• Implementing Safety corrective actions.
• Improving Safety unit indicators.
• Wasting Disposition to Satelite Station.
• Identifying process and/or equipment not performing as expected
• Ensuring correct resources are acting upon situation for Mft.
• Assuring Operator and BU's resources have the Skills and knowledge to receive the Product Transfer.
• Assuring materials are available.
• Monitoring process and quality performance
• Managing non-conformance through the NCR’s system.
• Assuring production goals are achieved in Packaging.
• Ensuring correct resources are acting upon situation for Packaging.
• Assuring Compliance with Laws & Regulations.
• Payroll Administration Kronos.
• Vacations & Overtime Administration for Non- Exempt.
• Generation of Purchases Requisition.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of ISO 9000
• Good oral and written communication skills
• High level of verbal, numerical and diagrammatical reasoning ability
• Effective people management skills in a team working culture
• Computer knowledge
EDUCATION • Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
• Generally works in manufacturing area (loud noise but could be in office area - moderate noise), depending day’s work.
• Most of the time he/she stands, walks, and use hands to finger, handle or feel.
• Performs light physical effort with some exposure to extreme cold, wet or humid conditions.
• Works near moving mechanical parts.
• Applies communication skills to perform work and coordinates with others.
• Utilizes vision all the time in all aspects (close, distance, focus, etc.).
• Utilizes a high analytical capacity and high level of professionalism and judgement to resolve problems.
EXPERIENCE
• Five years or more of experience in a medical devices/pharmaceutical industry in a similar position
