INTRODUCTION
- This Position Requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance
- This position is set aside for a person with a differing ability according to the AbilityOne government contract

- The core working hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
- This position is located at the Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters (ACE HQ) in Washington, DC
- The hourly wage is $18.74 per hour
- This position requires pre-employment criminal history background check, government security clearance, and drug testing.
QUALIFICATIONS

- At least 3 years of mail room experience to include sorting and distributing mail
- High level of leadership skills
- Ability to work with customers at a high proficiency level
- Able to think critically (i.e. discern correct transportation route)
- Able to walk 1 - 2 miles with ease
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform as Acting Supervisor in the absence of the Site Supervisor
- Completes ACE Pentagon mail run twice daily by taking government transportation
- Lead team by example and assist customers with a high degree of customer service and leadership skills
- Collect and sort mail from all assigned departments' outgoing boxes in the Army Corps Engineers (ACE) building for delivery at the appropriate office at the Pentagon
- Deliver mail to appropriate offices at the Pentagon and pickup any outgoing mail
- Use appropriate government transportation from ACE to the Pentagon and vice versa
- Verify all require log entries are kept
- Act as Melwood's liaison with ACE Contracting Representative
- Assist customers with outgoing mail and packages
- Respond to all customer requests
- Other duties as assigned
- Assist in other areas as assigned
