Enterprise Information Services, LLC (EIS), a Cognosante company, is seeking highly motivated Software Engineers to join our team of creative and enthusiastic software development professionals who maintain a collaborative culture. There are positions located in JBAB, Washington, DC and in Herndon, VA. All positions require a DoD TS/SCI w/CI Poly clearance.

Responsibilities

Performs systems engineering associated with designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing Big Data analytic systems for MARS using an Agile DevSecOps model
- Collaborates with Government counterparts, Mission Owners, and analysts to identify requirements for MARS Big Data analytic systems
- Identifies analytic algorithms and models that can be leveraged support those requirements (e.g., using AI/ML techniques)
- Identifies and captures requirements, features, and user stories in JIRA (in collaboration with the Intelligence Analyst)
- Documents architecture and system models using UML and/or SysML
- Identifies, defines, and documents internal and external interfaces
- Develops performance models to estimate, measure, and optimize performance using tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and CloudWatch
- Collaborates with the Training and Outreach team to update user training materials to incorporate new training requirements.

Qualifications

- DoD TS/SCI w/CI Poly is Required. This clearance requires US Citizenship.
- BS degree from an accredited program
- 9+ years Systems Engineering, Cloud Architecture, System Modeling, Microservice Architecture, Agile
- Tools/Skills: Systems engineering and architecture tools and processes (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect, Jira, UML/SysML)
