Senior Specialist, Content Marketing
The Senior Specialist, Content Marketing is responsible for the planning, management and creation of marketing content that is leveraged across and throughout Epson's marketing efforts, including demand generation, lead generation, social media, email marketing, and lead nurturing.

Principal Accountabilities
In addition to following Epson's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

- Accountable for all development, production, management, and distribution of content for marketing initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention

- Collaborates cross-functionally to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost for the organization

- Execution with a brand publisher mindset with the objective to create content our audience is looking for and then optimize the path to conversion

- Editorial requirements include basic SEO best practices, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement

- Development of editorial governance to ensure content is consistent with Epson's brand voice, style and tone

- Development and management of editorial calendar and organization workflows

- Management of Epson-branded blog site, and supporting channels including email/newsletter distribution

- Understanding of social media best practices and what content types work on each channel and why

- Perform measurement and optimization of programs on a regular and ongoing basis

- Management of all creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel

- Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand-to-demand

- Conduct executive presentations on the program approaches and results as required

- Manage budgets assigned to content marketing efforts

Qualifications:

- BA/BS or equivalent working experience

- Proven work experience in a Content marketing role

- Excellent communication and writing skills

- Experience developing content for the web and social audiences

- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it

- Ability to analyze and present content and social performance

- Experience with NewsCred (or other CMP), Pardot, MS Office, Dreamweaver, Google Docs

- Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results

About the Position:
As our Senior Specialist Content Marketing, you will be responsible for managing a branded blog site and robust pipelines of content aligned to Epson America's various product lines and target audiences. Your focus will be on hands-on management and optimization of the blog site, outbound content emails, infographics, long and short form articles, videos, whitepapers, case studies, and landing pages, that will nurture, engage, and convert our leads and prospects, increase upsells, boost engagement and decrease customer churn.
As the Senior Specialist Content Marketing, you will report to the Manager, Demand Generation & Content; No Direct Reports

Within 30 Days You'll:

- Progress through Epson America's New Hire Onboarding Experience

- Gain an in-depth understanding of Epson's current content landscape through a comprehensive content training and audit

- Shadow Strategic Marketing Management team to understand client pain points and the proactive/reactive tactics that lead to client success

- Demonstrate your grasp of Epson's brand style and voice by writing two emails focused on facilitating conversations with designated end users

- Create and deploy email to users from Pardot

Within 60 Days You'll:

- Assess and make recommendations on existing demand generation and nurture campaigns, and content production calendar

- Develop outlines and production plans for 2 new 'big rock' content assets, gaining a deep understanding of our content creation process (copywriting, design submission and feedback, and distribution)

Within 90 Days You'll:

- Completely own the content marketing platform, asset library, and editorial and distribution plans

- Own and update all analytics and reporting pertaining to content marketing efforts
