What you'll be doing

We are seeking a results oriented strategic business and product development leader to drive product innovation, market expansion and new market development activity leveraging data, domain knowledge and experience in the Information Industry. This new role will be responsible for advancing our innovation and growth agenda thru validating client/market needs, organizing and communicating actions, and collaborating with business units and DataLabs staff to help grow the Experian North America business thru data, analytics and technology.

Reporting to the GM Experian Data Labs North America, the successful candidate will be integrated into the scientific and technology bench and help create scalable and defensible opportunities for marketing, product and engineering teams to consider pursuing. We are looking for an ambitious client and product development person to discover and drive opportunities with new and existing clients and partners to originate growth.

What your background looks like

• Demonstrated history building strategic partnerships in the e-Commerce/digital, Financial Services, Fintech, Credit, Telecommunications, Energy, Cable and or enabling data and technology for those markets; strong rolodex with proven relationships
• Demonstrated history of discovering systemic/structural market and business needs/gaps and translating those into fungible opportunities that can be solved thru data; superior business analysis skills to influence committing resources
• Demonstrated history of conceptualizing and incubating new products, validating those products through MVP/PoC stages, and securing initial adoption with clients and or partners
• Demonstrated history collaborating with internal and external Executive leaders to build credible solution paths for product and market development; gaining alignment and securing indirect multi-disciplinary resources to achieve alignment to growth goals
• Demonstrated history collaborating with science, engineering and product teams in a matrix form
• Ability to deconstruct the market, ecosystem and product opportunities into step-wise pieces to ensure clarity of functions and delivery path; resolving asymmetrical data
• Exceptional history of identifying data assets, data linkages, and rationale for integration into a strategic growth agenda
• Independent critical thinking and rationalization of data, usage, and alignment to goals
• Viewpoint of the future that capitalizes and maximizes data sourcing/ tech enablement in markets Experian operates in currently and does not
• 15+ years developing executive level relationships with Fortune 500 companies that result in 8 figure or more de novo revenue generation $10M+
• Bachelor's degree required. MBA/ MS in quantitative field preferred.
• Position is located in San Diego, CA. Candidates will be considered for remote office but travel to San Diego office is required as needed.
