CNSP is recruiting a Program Analyst-Junior Level to assist USAID with administrative tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:


  • Provides assistance in planning, monitoring, coordinating, and reporting on development, reconstruction and stabilization activities to ensure that activities are implemented in a manner that achieves the objectives of the U.S. Government.
  • Prepares memoranda, talking points, briefing papers, and official correspondence for senior leadership.
  • Coordinates USAID's review and response to unsolicited proposals.
  • Collects, organizes, and summarizes information on USAID development programs, and the overall USG response.
  • Assists with budget planning tables and justification documents for internal, inter-agency and Congressional audiences.
  • Prepares and presents program reports and success stories.
  • Provides administrative support.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY


  • This position does not have any supervisory and/or managerial authority

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • Candidates must be US Citizens
  • Candidates will be subject to a US federal government background investigation and must favorably pass a drug screen.
  • Candidates must have as a minimum a High School diploma and/or GED and /or an Associate's degree in business administration.
  • Must have at least as a minimum 1+ years of experience in development programs in support of public and/or private organization and/or in a non-profit context

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


  • Must be available to meet with US Government officials on a regular basis, and/or as defined by USAID.

WORK ENVIRONMENT


  • Work will be in a controlled and secured US government controlled office environment in the Washington, D.C. area.
