What will I be doing?

As the Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the execution of the entire delivery process for your assigned partner teams. You will be deeply involved in the planning, execution and delivery of initiatives (maintenance, projects, programs etc.). Your focus will be on crafting and maintaining plans in conjunction with product, drive delivery planning of cross team dependencies and will represent assigned teams in planning sessions!

You will develop release schedules and develop your understanding on how team scope and schedule fit in with enterprise plans to identify conflicts, risks and issues. You will also focus on establishing and maintaining delivery processes, templates and guides.

You will also maintain delivery data in team tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint etc.) and participate in cross-team status calls, risk/issue management for assigned team and build dashboards/reports/summaries for leadership and executive audiences.

You will work to develop a solid grasp of the Hilton Worldwide family of brands, assigned platform current projects, upcoming product initiatives and enterprise processes (waterfall, agile, governance process, etc.) and build deep relationships with your peers.

More specifically, you will:


  • Adjust plans based on governance outputs
  • Own the delivery for assigned teams supporting/executing the agile process, identifying risks/issues, actively mitigating risks/issues
  • Partner with Product/Channel, development, QA leads and teams to successfully deliver releases
  • Give to broader delivery activities including but not limited to process definition/improvement, reporting, interviewing, training, staffing, demand intake, estimation, initiation, planning, etc.
  • Complete training, time reporting and expense reporting
  • Dedicatedly identify work and stretch activities

What are we looking for?

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:


  • Significant experience with delivery and have a deep understanding of waterfall/PMP and Agile (Scrum, Kanban etc.) methodologies.
  • Organized and dedicated
  • Large e-commerce and digital delivery experience
  • Ability to effectively drive delivery in a matrix environment through influence and collaboration
  • Effectively balance multiple platforms, teams, assignments and priorities
  • Good interpersonal communication skills, as well as writing and presentation skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to different leadership styles, political environments, and changes in priorities
  • Flexibility, sense of urgency, passion, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Capacity to independently prioritize and handle several projects at a time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and dynamic environment

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of professional experience in technology or a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience as a manager of delivery process for an agile team or project
  • Travel up to 20%

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree with six (6+) years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED with twelve (12+) years of Technology related experience
  • PMP certification or Agile certification(s)
