The video production specialist will work with internal Division of Agriculture clients to discuss objectives and develop video concepts. They will write scripts, shoot footage and edit. They will use videos to tell compelling stories and communicate educational and promotional ideas. The video production specialist will be expected to:

*Work with the video team, department director and the entire communications department to manage and complete video projects from start to finish.
*Interview internal Division clients to identify short- and long-term communications objectives.
*Develop concepts for video projects that meet the objectives of internal clients and the Division as a whole. Maintain top of mind awareness of big-picture goals.
*Continually hone video production skills and provide training to employees throughout the Division.
*Research, experiment, and recommend trends and techniques/technologies for visual content and editing processes.
*Maintain and manage video production equipment. Research and recommend equipment purchases that will further the mission of the Division.
*Provide timely Division event coverage in the form of photos or videos.
*Convert complex research project information into manageable video projects that capture the essence of the research.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree
- Examples of previous video production work required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Photography and graphic design skills would be a plus.

KSAs:
- Ability and desire to quickly and efficiently learn new skills and learn from others.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and other Adobe CC software.
- Ability to operate digital video cameras from both a practical and aesthetic standpoint.
- Basic knowledge of audio recording equipment and principles.
- Knowledge of basic lighting principles for video.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to work with a team of specialists, both in-person and remotely using cloud-based tools.Additional Information:
