Job Description:

Requires Skills & Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of medication preparation techniques and drug recordkeeping requirements

• High level of attention to detail and the execution of duties

• Effective patient interaction skills - empathetic. engaging and polite

• Ability to work as a member of a team

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines

• Ability to interact in an appropriate and professional manner

• Demonstrated cooperative behavior and positive-problem solving and conflict resolution skills

• Available to work dependable, flexible shift

Description of Duties: 

• Randomize subjects

• Prepare oral and IV medications using aseptic techniques

• Perform patient assessments and monitor the effect of the drug therapy

• Evaluate lab data and other relevant clinical diagnostic techniques

• Review study protocols to determine drug administration requirements

• Document all aspects of drug preparation and administration. Maintain medication stock.

• Deliver medications to inpatients and outpatients

• Perform monthly verification of physical inventory and reconcile against perpetual accounting logs

• Answer questions/interaction with investigators. CRO's. Study Monitors and Sponsors

• Other duties as may be assigned.
