Job Summary: The Transportation Coordinator will aid in all clerical duties including payroll, safety, training, onboarding, direct/indirect driver supervision, filing, billing, reconciliation, data entry, processing of various reports and general office coordination.

Responsibilities:

* Be a point of contact for drivers for flow of information; escalate concerns to management
* Communicate with drivers on company matters through various mean including email, newsletters, meetings, phone calls, etc.
* Work with drivers to insure all onboarding and training is complete in a timely manner
* Develop and implement approved ideas safety and communication programs
* Back-up Dispatch Supervisors when needed in short and possibly long-term situations
* Manage driver physicals and D&A tracking and scheduling
* Process fuel mileage and other reports
* Process driver settlements
* Assist with maintaining and processing driver and Independent Contractor applications, contracts and files
* Perform data entry in a variety of systems
* Perform other misc. clerical roles, including, but not limited to purchasing office supplies, faxing, filing, packaging and mailing, scanning, etc.
* All other duties as assigned
