Your role:

The Senior Associate Quality Control Chemist will perform routine assignments using existing procedures or even works autonomously within established procedures and practices that require knowledge of concepts and procedures within a job discipline or specialized technical expertise within an analytical/scientific method or operational process

Accountable for the quality of own work. Receives clear instruction, guidance and direction from more senior level roles or even solves problems of low complexity independently by identifying and selecting solutions and by analyzing information. Contributes to or even impacts the results of own team. Exchanges straightforward information asks questions and checks for understanding. The working hours will be 3:00pm-11:30pm.

* Conduct chemical suitability tests in accordance with guidelines of the quality management system (ISO 9001:2015)

* Perform routine analytical tests in compliance with standardized methodology

* Maintain complete and accurate records consistent with quality guidelines

* Trained to safely handle, process, route and request stock suitability samples

* Train new hires on relevant SOPs and operations in assigned work area(s)

* Performs intermediate analytical troubleshooting with guidance

* Support general laboratory functions and routine maintenances

* Identify opportunities for quality improvement in compliance with Quality Management System

* Assist in the 3-year procedure review program: Create, update, and correct department SOPs

* Communicate with relevant management and departments to ensure customer focused excellence

* Supply information to customers and site visitors based on trained experience and knowledge

* Prioritize responsibilities in alignment with established department goals

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or related Physical Science field OR 4+ years' experience working in a laboratory or quality role.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge in chemistry, math, and general science

* Ability to function in a team environment

* Good customer service and communications skills, oral and written

* Basic understanding analytical techniques, tools, applications and equipment

* Safe chemical handling practice and ability to compute chemical calculations and conversions

* Ability to adapt, self-motivate, and critically think and making decisions

* Organization, attention to detail and time management skills

* Database software management skills, Microsoft Office 360, Power Point, Excel, Word etc..

* Basic understanding of Good Documentation Practices
