Position Summary:
As an expert in Software AG webMethods technologies, the candidate in this role will work with IT functional leads, business users and external partners in understanding technical requirements and develop IT solutions using webMethods components (Integration Server, My webMethods Server, Designer, Integration Broker, Oracle Applications Adapter, JDBC Adapter) to help develop web Services. Administer, Maintain and support day-to-day production issues in webMethods technology stack.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, management and support of all Software AG webMethods components.
Implement a system architecture adhering to the best practices and using the standard pub-sub and SOA design paradigms for integrating with interfaces using the Enterprise Service Bus.
Design, Document, Develop, Test, Implement, Train and Support integrations developed with webMethods technologies.
Researches and solves highly technical and/or complex problems on multiple projects, using expert usage of non-standard concepts and principles requiring high levels of judgment and interpretation.
Designs and builds more complex changes, extensions and enhancements to existing webMethods integrations with Oracle ERP, external customers and service providers applications.
Co-ordinate with webMethods technical services to resolve the issues with webMethods components.
Work with cross functional IT & business team in analyzing, resolving production support issues in webMethods integrations.
Work across teams to ensure the highest-level platform performance, availability and disaster recovery. Lead and perform the annual DR/Business Continuity test for Software AG webMethods components and webMethods based solutions.
Understand the business systems, integration points and recommend and implement the right tool sets that's most suited for current application footprint and future
Build solutions that increase business value using industry standard methodologies and scalable integration tools/platforms
Requires travel (10%) to Regal facilities across worldwide to support Project milestones
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
Experience:
5 years of extensive development experience on WebMethods 9.x.using Software AG webMethods Developer and webMethods flow language
5 years of experience in Java development
5 years of experience in SQL Server
Skills:
Experience in webMethods EAI, B2B, and BPM technologies.
Strong Java/J2EE Experience.
Experience in developing SOAP and REST based services.
Experience in IntegrationServer, webMethods development, webMethods Administration, webMethods migration, applying patches and installing certificates.
Hands on Expertise in design of integrations using webMethods tools, development using flow services, Java services, adapter services, MQ Oracle Applications, flat file.
Worked on Broker publish/subscribe and request/response model.
Knowledge of various MWS configurations and administration Broker, JMS and Triggers configuration and administration
Expertise in web services and XML implementation, error and exception handling, messaging, queuing and guaranteed delivery.
