As an Environmental Services Technician you will:
Education:
Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent education
Work Experience:
Preferred: At least six months of continuous employment with a single employer.
Preferred: Previous cleaning and/or customer service experience.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Physical Requirements: Medium: Ability to lift to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/and or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
For Floor Care/Trash/Contamination positions: Heavy - Ability to lift up to 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Work Schedule: Multiple shifts available (1st shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm or 11:00 am - 7:30 pm, 2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm or 5:00 pm – 1:30 am, 3rd shift: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am). Some positions may include every weekend or every other weekend.

Pay: The starting salary for this position is $15.00/hr with a shift differential of $2.50/hr and/or weekend differential of $2.10/hr. UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting rate of pay may be higher based on work experience that is relevant to the position.
