Job Description Summary

Supervises and leads various technology projects across the enterprise. Responsible for coordination of resources within technology and across various business functional team and external parties to ensure successful implementation of enterprise level projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical guidance to project team members in proper deployment of technologies.

  • Interface with members of business and project management team to coordinate technology implementations and deployments.

  • Oversee technical design, management, of various enterprise technologies that include, but are not limited to; Microsoft 365 suite, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, messaging, collaboration products, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM & Intune).

  • Lead staff and vendor implementation and support of the network infrastructure and security solutions.

  • Develop and implement standards and procedures in the areas of enterprise systems, telecommunication systems, cloud technologies, network infrastructure, and security.

  • Exhibit hands on leadership in the designing and implementing of cloud services in AWS or Azure.

  • Coordinate with vendors on enterprise scale implementation projects.

  • Provide guidance and direction on innovations that add value to the business, improve productivity, and/or save costs.

  • Learn new technologies and products quickly and adapt them to business requirements.

  • Lead onshore and offshore teams of analysts and engineers to provide 24x7 support.

  • Responsible to audit, code, and approve network infrastructure and security invoices.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Strong technical skills in various enterprise technologies, for example: Microsoft Server 2012/2016, VMware, Microsoft 365, AD, SSO, MFA, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM & Intune).

  • Working knowledge of infrastructure and network systems including SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, Cisco routers, Cisco/Juniper switches, Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba Access Points, enterprise storage systems, Asterix/FreePBX VoIP and call manager systems.

  • Experience working vendors such as, Rapid 7, Code42, Palo Alto, OpenNMS, Sophos, Trend Micro, Jamf, Aruba, Juniper, Thycotic, Slack, SysAid, Zabbix, Zoom, and Veeam is preferred.

  • Experience with, SIEM, End Point Security, Mobile Device Management, Vulnerability Scanning.

  • Working experience with managing large MacOS environments.

  • Ability to manage an outsourced on/offshore provider.

  • Strong functional PM skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.

  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio is preferred.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Experience estimating project costs.

  • Ability to pick up new technologies and products quickly.

  • 5+ years of technical team leadership is required.

  • 3 years of vendor relationship management is preferred.

  • Experience with VMWare Cloud is a plus.

Education:


  • B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.

  • Experience with server engineering, network infrastructure, systems operations, telecommunications, and SaaS applications is preferred.

  • Microsoft certifications are desirable but not required.

  • PMP certification is a plus.
