Position Description:
With supervision, the Full-Time Temporary Assembler performs routine electronic and mechanical assembly operations at unit and module assembly level, as well as harness subassemblies using blueprints, work instructions, ECO’s, deviations, drawings, diagrams and written processes.

Roles & Responsibilities
This position has responsibility for:
• Perform all duties and task in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings, quality standards and company policies.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, or engineering work assembly drawings.
• Ability to use power or hand tools, solder, and package parts for transport.
• Perform duties such as hand assembly, computer tracking, inspection, wiring, cleaning, loading, and unloading material, and material transportation.
• Actively comply with safety policies and practices; maintain a clean and safe workstation.
• Record, measure, and report results and take corrective actions when needed.
• Communicate with others, supervisors, and managers in a professional and respectful manner.

Position Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications (Experience and Skills)
• 3 yrs of experience, preferably in both electronic and mechanical assembly, including soldering and assembly production.
• Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must be able to communicate in English and comprehend written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to record and measure results via logs and reports, both manually or through the computer.
• Ability to determine when product no longer meets quality standards set by work instructions and understands to notify supervisor.
• Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as required; as well as flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shift when required.
• Ability to work with others; contribute effectively as a team member.

Education Requirements
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
