Job Description:

We are seeking to fill the Records & Title Team role for the Data Quality/Systems/Reporting Department.

The Records & Title Team position is responsible for tracking and maintaining the physical control of the loans for the portfolio. In addition, maintain quality control of file records for Credit Human loans and working with the Credit Human Records Management department on prepping and maintaining the files for the life of the loan, imaging, and storage of loan files and trailing documents for the loans. They will follow up with the Credit Human Records Management department to resolve any issues of quality or correctness on the imaging system and work with the US Bank Document Custodians to request GNMA guidelines for all loans in GNMA pools. The MH- Records & Title Team will follow up with the regions to ensure all security documents have been received and that the servicing system accurately reflects the location of those documents. This role is also responsible for the printing, folding, stuffing, and mailing of various papers for Indirect Lending Support and MH Servicing, including but not limited to loan statements, T&I Disclosures, and Adverse Action letters.

Highlights:


  • Initiate communication with a direct manager regarding any areas of opportunity or concern related to existing policies and procedures and improvements needed or identified.

  • Perform a quality control audit of a sample of the imaged to verify completeness, accuracy and to ensure the documents are legible.

  • Follow up on any issues with Credit Human records management personnel.

Experience:

    Required


  • 2 years of experience with mortgage/manufactured housing loan servicing or other relevant experience

    Preferred


  • Knowledge/Experience of FICS servicing system, MS

Education:

    Required


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Preferred

    • General knowledge of all areas of mortgage lending policies, guidelines, terminology, and procedures

    • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

    • Detail-oriented and accurate

    • Customer service oriented

    • Friendly

    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

    • Ability to type 40 wpm, preferred

    • Strong math and analytical skills

    • Good oral and written communication skills

    • Knowledge of loan documents

    • Ability to lift packaged loan documents; approximately 20 pounds

    Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm 

    Level of Work: 1B
