The Opportunity...

As a Lead Solutions Consultant, you will be working with area account executives with various aspects of the sales process. You will provide technical assistance and expertise to provide technical assistance to the customers and prospects looking to leverage OpenText's products in their environment or to embed it into their existing application(s).

What you are Great at...
* Providing technical support and sales expertise to pre-sales and post-sales situations within a designated sales region
* Formulating technical strategies and tactics for sales in support of OpenText products and services and functioning as an integral part of the sales team
* Providing demonstrations of the products
* ad hoc and custom demonstrations of the product set
* Presenting technical features and business benefits
* Working cooperatively with other members of the sales organization to resolve technically oriented problems and issues
* Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
* Conveying customer requirements to Product Management and Professional Services teams
* Identifying and communicating technical and business pre-sales issues to the Sales Representative
* Assisting customers with installation, configuration, and use of the products

What it Takes...
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related field or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years in a customer-facing presales technical role
* 5+ years experience in Analytics and Content Management
* SQL, ETLs, and data structures
* Document transformation and document accessibility
* Business intelligence tools, text mining and analyzing unstructured content
* Demonstrate effective understanding and usage of the terrain map - understanding key roles (influencer, champion, etc) and how to influence including understanding the customer issues and requirements
