The company began more than 100 years ago in Tulsa and has successfully diversified into a variety of industries, businesses and geographies. .The Investor Accounting Representative is primarily responsible for the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records and reports for investors and agencies. The representative must keep updated and comply with investor regulations and guidelines. The representative prepares daily and monthly system reports; prepares reconciliations and remits funds due to investors; balances custodial bank accounts for the various investors; reports to the investors on their own reporting sites; assists with the conversion of acquisition loans.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Reports monthly to GNMA, FNMA, FHLMC, FHLB, BOK Portfolio, Bond Authorities, Warehouse and/or various private investors; reconciles investor reports by analyzing actual activity to reported activity; reviews reports to ensure compliance to investor regulations; submits reports and forms as required by investors; works with investors to correct discrepancies in reporting to ensure accurate remittances. Remittances are made to investors and GNMA certificate holders monthly.
- Balances investor custodial bank accounts monthly; ensures funds received from mortgagors are remitted to investors. The investors GNMA, FNMA, FHLMC, and FHLB require complex balancing involving scheduled/scheduled accounting. The s/s accounting requires advancing company funds to comply with regulations. The custodial account must be balanced to system reports to ensure accurate remittance and reporting and appropriate reimbursement of company funds advanced; clears reconciling items monthly; processes monthly fees of interest loss from payoffs and curtailments and guaranty fees charged by the investors.
- Transfers and maintains new loan sales on the system to the appropriate investors; sets up and balances new loan acquisitions as it affects investor accounting for future reporting to investors; balancing involves analyzing information reported by previous servicer for accuracy; prepares amortization schedules for purpose of early buyouts from investor to foreclosure investor; deposits funds from early buyouts and foreclosure loans to custodial account and balances to ensure monies received are accurate; processes loan sales where servicing is released and ensures funds are correctly appropriated.
- Monitors daily loan transactions for payoffs, structured loans and principal balance changes; reports payoffs to investors and remits funds with the required time limits to avoid penalties imposed by the investors according to their regulations.
- Compiles information and statistics as requested by investors; compiles monthly investor portfolio reporting for management reports; assists internal and external customers with problem resolution; works on assignments as required by supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Thorough knowledge of investor and agency guidelines with regard to private investor reporting and accounting, payment application and custodial accounts
- Thorough knowledge of cash flow process of receipts clearing and custodial DDAs
- Working knowledge of FHLMC, FNMA, GNMA and FHLB reporting and accounting guidelines
- Working knowledge of PC; good software skills (i.e. Windows, Excel, Mornet, Midanet, GinnieNet, Monarch, Surf, RFS, Servicer Connect)
- Excellent 10 key skills
- Good mathematical skills
- Good communication skills, both oral and writtenThis level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associates degree in Accounting and 1-2 years of experience in mortgage lending/servicing or equivalent work related experience in Investor Accounting of 4+ years.
