TheCommercialRefrigeration MasterService Technicianis responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of refrigeration systems commonly installed in supermarkets and convenient stores.
- Perform prescribed, routine maintenance procedures on supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained temperature controlled merchandisers. Working knowledge of energy management systems.
- Diagnose refrigeration systems and perform necessary repairs resulting in 100% customer satisfaction.
- Ability to locate and repair leaks on racks or single-units
- Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.
- All of the requirements for the Professional Technician must be met, plus... 1. What sets apart the Master Technician is his/her ability to take the knowledge base that he/she has and teach others. This ability is required because as a Master Technician your role is to lead the less experienced through a learning skill so they may continue to grow. 2. As a Master Technician, mechanical, electrical and electronic knowledge of systems, must be very high. You should be able to diagnose all types of systems problems as well as, repair those systems. These systems include: parallel racks, distributed systems, conventional systems, cases, walk-ins and warehouses. These systems could be Hussmann systems or competitors systems. 3. As a Master technician abilities should also include retrofitting systems from one refrigerant to another. 4. A Master Technician should be able to lead learning discussions, either in the classroom or hands- on with other technicians as requested.
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School/Equivalent required (or 10 years trade experience), Other technical diploma or Bachelors Degree Preferred.
* 10+ years experience.

- Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical and microprocessor control systems
- Knowledge of single systems, parallel racks systems, display cases and walk-in boxes
- Strong mechanical aptitude skills
- EPArequired
- Driver's license appropriate to local requirements and a safe driving record.
- Physically able to climb ladders and to lift objects up to fifty pounds.
