Description:Best Buy’s Health App team, based in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood, is looking for a Senior Manager of QA to lead the discovery, development, and delivery of thoughtful, transformative digital experiences that help empower people to lead independent, healthier lives.
As the QA Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the Quality Assurance team members. Provide assessment of quality, generating guidelines, and procedures to lead the quality assurance team effectively and efficiently. This Senior manager will need to think out of the box to work with different stakeholders to ensure that while all shipped products are not perfect, the quality bar should be high enough that users will not be negatively impacted.

Responsibilities:• Provide Leadership and direction to team members. • Guide team members in testing with multiple platforms, each may have different challenges. • Exercise forward thinking and plan for resource needs and utilization. • Establish or enhance existing procedures and processes to ensure consistency and reliability in quality. • Constantly look for opportunities to improve efficiency and ways to be more effective. • Help push to provide the highest level of quality for Best Buy applications. • Leverage different metrics and analyze data to obtain buy-ins from different stakeholders.
Qualifications:• 10+ years of industry experience.• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards• Prior experience (5 years) of being a QA manager with a team of at least 8 members. • Minimum 3 years of experience in working with iOS, Android, and React Native apps in testing capacities. • Demonstrated expertise in different testing tools, methodologies, principles, and disciplines.• Excellent communication skills including composition. • Analytical - demonstrated ability to use data to make decisions.Bonus:• Some understanding of UI automation tools and languages.
