When Kennedy Elementary School opened its doors in August 2016, it started on a strong foundation of literacy and math instruction. We continue to build the capacity for teachers to learn and implement project-based learning as a core instructional strategy. In addition, we use a STEAM orientation to design curricula and projects so that students experience a more student-centered, hands-on approach to learning.
