The Business Director - Perioperative and Procedural Services e ffectively leads both people and high-impact large-scale projects within assigned business unit. Develop, direct and monitor business systems in order to meet or exceed financial objectives. Monitor and analyze data to assess operational and financial performance. Provide recommendations for strategy and process improvement in the daily operations of the business, to include capital investments, and service development. Oversee logistics and operational process improvement initiatives (supply chain as applicable). Manage and negotiate contracts with external vendors. Lead, develop, and mentor individuals or teams of people to achieve desired financial and operational performance standards and related strategic business objectives. Develop and execute strategies that have significant impact on the human resource, clinical, and/or financial performance of the area of accountability. Develop business unit fiscal policy and procedures in conjunction with leadership that meets organizational goals, strategies, and objectives. Accountable for evaluating, implementing and executing strategic plan to ensure division and organization achieve goals. This position requires significant interaction with physicians and administrators.
