Engaging with customers and prospects to understand their current architectural landscape, current business process, environment and ecosystem. You understand how and why application integration is critical to an organizations future and how automation and efficiency can drive profitability. What does it take?

* The NA Solutions Consulting team is a trusted advisor to the OpenText customer and Sales teams.

* 5 years experience in software development or pre-sales with proven ability to understand and analyze prospects needs and identify and develop and present appropriate OpenText solutions.

* You are an expert at Application to Application Integration and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI)

* Interoperability is what drives you. Leveraging webservices, REST, JSON, SDK's, public and private API's and microservices is your passion.

* If you are a solution architect looking to solve integration problems with public and private clouds and work in a dynamic and exciting customer facing role.

* The ability to master a broad range of expertise ranging from understanding the business process to collecting and analyzing business and technical requirements.

* Experience in services model on a global basis that include: Up front implementation, service level agreements, data center operations, ongoing customer management and change management

* You know and understand what power of IoT

* Excellent customer relations, written and verbal communication skills.

* Able to take direction.

* Demonstrate a team attitude.

* Display high level of independence.

* Experience developing and presenting clear and concise product briefings. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Power Point.

* Ability to travel on a regular basis.

JOB FUNCTIONS

* Provide business process and technical expertise

* Lead the technical qualification, opportunity assessment, and solution design and proposal phases.

* Work with sales to analyze client's business processes and technical requirements.

* Propose the best solution that generates profitable revenue for OpenText and meets the client's business and technical needs.

* Works closely with solution definition and delivery teams to develop implementation plans, estimates, for proposals

* Assist in developing client's business case for the recommended solution.

* Ensure smooth transition from pre-sale solution to post-sales implementation.

* Respond to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.

* Create and deliver demonstrations, presentations and/or prototypes which map features/benefits of OpenText to specific business and technical needs.

* Provide on-going technical support to well-qualified prospects conducting evaluations. This may include training, programming of examples, third-party software, trouble-shooting, best-practices consulting.

* Provide advice to sales management.

* Work closely with sales management to establish in depth account plans and strategies.

* Assist sales in getting answers to questions and issues.

* Serve as liaison between OpenText sales and solution delivery.

* Work with marketing and sales on sales collateral.
