Location: US, GA, Alpharetta

The opportunity:
As Senior Technical Support Specialist for our Documentum products, you will handle new support cases for our customers in a B2B environment. This customer support role requires knowledge of technology including Windows Server, Linux, Networking, Databases, Application servers, and scripting languages.

You are great at:
Working with customers and colleagues to solve Documentum and technology related software problems in an B2B environment.

A typical day:
Expect an event-driven day taking new cases, responding to questions for ongoing cases, testing, and Webex with customers.
*Work with customers on new and ongoing cases talking with customers to scope and clarify the problem to ensure understanding and using MS Teams for troubleshooting.
*Setting expectations with customers on follow-up and what they can expect for next steps
* Create and configure VMware images to replicate customer environments for problem investigation and resolution.
*Document problems and steps to replicate and create software bugs in Jira.
*Give or receive coaching on problem identification, scoping, understanding and expectation setting.
*Create or approve technical documents from your cases for our knowledge base.
*Develop and grow your skills

Enjoy your mornings free and commute after Atlanta's typical rush hour.
Work hours: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET

What it takes:
* Strong knowledge of OS System Administration (Windows Server and Linux) and networking
* Solid experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
* Working knowledge of J2EE technologies. This includes an understanding of any web application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, WildFly, Websphere, etc.), Web services frameworks, and Java programming.
* Ability to understand and use various programming languages and technologies is a plus (C++, VB script, VB, Java, Eclipse, .Net etc.).
* Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and documentation skills.
* Ability to thrive in an event-driven environment.
* 4-7 years of technical support experience.
