The Lab Engineer will be a technical resource who is driven to expand their knowledge in the network security space, while working alongside our product and engineering teams to assist in exposing our products to more customers in this constantly evolving industry.

The Lab Engineer is responsible for maintaining network security test devices configuration and licensing, as well as setting up and maintaining virtual sandbox environments used for customer demos and or training purposes.

Responsibilities:
* Partner with Network Security Engineers to setup and maintain security test devices in the lab to provide support for R&D and integration testing.
* Build and maintain virtual sandbox test environments for customer Demos.
* Provide technical assistance to Sales teams for Demo environments.
* Document security test devices for availability and license management.

Required Skills and Experience:
* Preferred Bachelor's Degree or related field OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
* Familiarity with virtualization technologies and platforms.
* Linux general user knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
* Self-motived individual willing to research to identify best solution.
* Network troubleshooting experience using common available tools.
* Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
* Possess a positive attitude and work well with others.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
* Experience across multiple firewall vendors technologies is preferred, minimum hands on experience with at least one industry leading firewall vendor
* Linux System Admin level experience
* Scripting experience
* Entry level python coding experience
