JOB SUMMARY:
In this role, you will be responsible for making daily collection calls to customers regarding past due accounts within assigned sales region, investigate new customers, and prepare credit analysis to assess credit worthiness, establish credit limits within specified authority for assigned customer base.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE:

- Respond to customer issues, resolve customer issues and perform account reconciliations.
- Review assigned customer account credit folders at least annually to determine legitimacy of established credit limits ensuring complete credit data, credit application and financial statements, review, release and process customer orders daily, along with those on system credit hold.
- Review account problems with Supervisor or Manager on a monthly or on an as needed basis.
- Special projects as assigned.WHAT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL NEED TO HAVE:

- Associates degree in Accounting or related field.
- 1-3 years credit/collections/accounts receivable experience
- Exposure to International credit/collections preferred.
- NACM formalized training/professional designation a plus.
- Experience with Dun & Bradstreet and DNBi modules is a plus.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong telephone, email/customer service skills are required.
