Job Description:

Clinical Quality Analytics is looking for a Senior Medical Informatics Analyst who has hands on experience on data analysis, research and programming using SAS from various data sources (flat files, relational databases, other SAS datasets etc.) using Base SAS.

Required Skills:

-

Advanced SAS data step, SAS macro language, Proc SQL and other SAS procedures

-

Experience working with health plan data focused on clinical quality

-

Experience working with HEDIS data and have HEDIS knowledge is a big plus

-

Superior analytical skills- identify, analyze, research on data issues

-

Advanced Excel skills

-

Ability to document processes: Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

-

Team player and self-starter with minimal guidance

Other Skills:

-

Experience using UNIX commands, shell scripts

-

Experience working with Netezza and Oracle, and understands how SAS interacts with these databases (best practices when accessing various RDBMS from SAS)

-

Tableau dashboards and reports

-

Familiar with CPT, diagnosis codes, LOINC codes

Education & Experience

-

Bachelor's degree required or master's preferred

-

3+ years' experience using SAS

-

Experience working with health plan and HEDIS data strongly preferred

-

Quality improvement experience preferred

-

SAS Certification preferred.

-

Advance Netezza / SQL desired.
