The Salesforce Solution Architect works under the guidance of Senior Director, IT Product and Relationship Management. The Salesforce Solution Architect works with the Associate Director of Salesforce Administration, and the Senior Salesforce Business Analyst and is responsible for overseeing all development activities and determining the best approach for implementing all new projects and enhancements.

Key Accountabilities:

- Oversees all the SF development staff including staff performance and development, prioritization of requests, and quality of work.
- Implementing and following Salesforce best practices while taking into account Parexel s nuances
- All offshore/onsite deliveries, design, code reviews, guidance and technical documentation of changes and modifications to Parexel s Salesforce applications and products.
- Code migrations, data migration and metadata management for all lower environments; while working closely with the Administration team
- Project related data integration and any integration architecture
- Salesforce technology governance - app exchange solutions/decisions
- Project related security architecture; working closely with Prexel s Enterprise Architecture and Security teams
- All Pipeline development items and communicating release dates and any issues to the overall Salesforce IT teamQualifications
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning
- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
- Shows Initiative and self-confidence, is adaptable and is able to cope with changing and evolving priorities.
- Must have the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Knowledge and Experience:
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum)
- 5-7 years of Salesforce Architecture Experience
- 5-10 years of experience managing staff
- Gearset (or another similar platform)
- Bitbucket (or another similar platform)

Education:
- Salesforce Technical Architect Certification
