We have an opportunity for an experienced team leader to join our fast-paced Manufacturing Team in Westbrook, Maine. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership of the first shift Slide Manufacturing team, assisting in prioritizing the daily workload and ensuring production goals are met. The team lead will also be responsible for inventory accuracy, driving efficiency improvements, work document review and material and product flow supporting the Operations Manager.

In This Role
- You will work with manufacturing staff by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and supporting. You will assist in initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- You will provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
- You will assist in performance evaluation.
- You will partner with manufacturing staff and support groups to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
- You will participate in continuous improvement (lean) initiatives that improve the value-added steps of the product flow.
- Youwill read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures,andgovernment regulations.
- You will maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

- Effectiveness in teaching and coaching others
- Strong critical thinking/problem-solving skills
- Experience using SAP (or a similar inventory management system) preferred
- Former management experience is preferred
