Versar, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the USACE Mobile District. This position will perform project engineering services. Primary work location is at Maxwell AFB, AL.
Responsibilities:
- Review construction submittals, contractor questions, RFIs/RFCs, construction schedules, contract deficiencies, construction deficiencies, project issues, requests for equitable adjustment, and claims.
- Compute time extensions.
- Prepare documents for change orders and claims.
- Make technical interpretations of drawings and specifications.
- Provide engineering determinations on meeting the contract requirements and make determinations from a construction standpoint.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and more than ten (10) years' experience as a construction project engineer on large, complex multimillion-dollar projects.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with USACE Resident Management System (RMS)

- Ability to obtain Government Issued Security Clearance
