Security Clearance: Top Secret SCI; CI Poly Preferred (IndraSoft will be getting a CI Polygraph for the selected candidate)

IndraSoft, Inc. is seeking a GIS Systems Administrator with a Top Secret/SCI Clearance (CI Poly Preferred) to work in Aurora, CO (Buckley AFB). The candidate will be a highly motivated individual who works well as part of multi-disciplinary team. The candidate must have a strong foundation and extensive experience with systems administration and engineering on multiple platforms. Must be able to work with Agile team in support of both operational support, system configuration and software development activities. Candidate must have strong analytical, troubleshooting skills. Candidate should have experience in performing a variety of routine project tasks applied to specialized systems administration activities.

Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or electronics or equivalent. Three (3) years of Information Technology (IT)/Systems Engineering/Administration experience is considered equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

- 3 - 5 years of experience with a broad range of IT infrastructure (i.e. Virtual servers, Desktop environments, Network attached storage devices, communications systems, etc.)

- 3 - 5 years of experience with operating systems (i.e. Redhat, Windows, Linux, Solaris, etc.)

- Experience in securing, hardening Federal Government Information Systems (IS).

- Expert in implementing and monitoring Government IS Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for compliance and integration on assigned resources.

- Excellent software and hardware troubleshooting skills.

- Understanding of Configuration Management (CM) as it relates to baseline hardware/software.

- Working knowledge of Change/Incident Management processes as it relates to troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software issues/upgrades.

- Ability to read and comply with ACAS vulnerability assessment scans.

- General understanding of ArcGIS integration with the Aerospace Data Facility-Colorado (ADF-C) operational network.

- Excellent communication and customer service and support skills.

Security/Certification Requirements:

- DoD Top Secret SCI Security Clearance; CI Poly Preferred

- Certification: DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II or III. Must currently be certified on one, or more, of the following (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE or SSCP).

- Current, and relevant, Computing Environment (CE) certification relating to Systems Engineering/Administration (preferably Windows 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), etc.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to multiple systems and technology areas.

- Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems.

- The contractor shall troubleshoot and resolve installation and deployment issues in coordination with application integrators and developers.

- Optimize system operation and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.

- Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution utilizing ITIL V3(4) methodologies.

- Provide support for incident, problem, and request management processes leveraging the ITIL V3(4) service framework and best-business practices.

- Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.

- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.

- Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.

- Perform a variety of systems administration tasks and activities that are broad in nature including managing scripts, STIG checks, ACAS scan reviews, log audits, ensure applications are secure, harden and general system maintenance.

- Manually apply patches that have been tested and approved as needed.

- Responsible for ensuring appropriate security requirements are configured and baseline software is maintained through sound CM techniques.

- Responsible for all activities related to the administration of Windows/Linux Server environments.

- Assist a development team with the installation and administration of development, test, and operational environments.

- Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.

- Increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develop system administrator procedures and conduct system administrator training and skill assessment (if required).

- Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.

- Provide on-demand assistance, within normal duty hours, when questions arise.

- Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.

- Interact with users and evaluates vendor products.

- Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.

- Work with a project team or as an individual contributor to specify non-functional requirements, size system hardware (physical and virtual), maintenance steps, tuning/troubleshooting performance issues.

Physical Demands:
While performing duties of the job, incumbent will be exposed to normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face. This position requires incumbent to have the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
