Primary Function

The 2nd Shift Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, staging and moving materials throughout the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

- Accurate and efficient movement of materials into the facility to and from trailers into warehouse bin locations also not exempt to loading outbound trucks.

- Responsible for the accurate transacting of all materials moved utilizing SAP.

- Report material discrepancies to leads or Cycle Count Team.

- Responsible for housekeeping in the warehouse and on the production floor.

- Responsible for safe operation of vehicles and completion of daily operational checklists.

- Responsible for reporting any incidents immediately to your supervisor or team lead.

- Responsible for meeting daily metrics.

Qualifications

- Must have previous forklift experience. Use of Clamp truck is preferred, but not required.

- Must have a minimum of three, preferably five years of box clamp or forklift experience in a fast paced, high volume Distribution Center environment.

- Must be able to work either independently or in a team environment.

- Must be able to read a pick sheet and utilize a scanner and vehicle mounted computer.

- Responsible to maintain bin accuracy in the DC by utilizing the SAP, or similar warehouse management systems

- Able to lift 75 pounds, and ability to re-position 200 pound water heaters.

- High School diploma or GED

- Must be willing and available to work 2nd Shift work hours

Minimum of 3 years of related work experience or training

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to push/pull up to 75 lbs.
- Loud noises and limited exposure to dust and fumes.
