Background & Major Responsibilities:
This role reports directly to the NA Director of CyberSecurity GTM Chief Technologist and is responsible for driving efforts to solidify long-term growth and health of our cybersecurity business in the US Federal non-secure accounts. The role requires a seasoned cybersecurity professional with customer-facing advisory experience to drive pipeline across all account segments and generate thought leadership content and engagement. The ideal candidate is motivated by long-term success, programmatic execution of go-to-market plans, and has a balance of technical and business acumen.
An example of other primary responsibilities and deliverables are provided below:
- Work with direct and with specialist sales teams within our Federal business to drive sales growth through engagement in customer meetings, pursuits, and support on early sales stages through the sales lifecycle.
- Work with your aligned sales teams on pipeline generation by participating in, but not limited to, account planning, nurturing customer relationships, executing workshops, and engaging in value conversations.
- Engage and connect with C-Level executives that consider you to be a trusted advisor who can help guide them on whatever cyber related problems they are dealing with.
- Assist building a vibrant security Alliance partner ecosystem in support of our Fed business. Partner with Indirect Sales (PBM, Alliances, etc.) and provide a path to value realization for the customers.
- Work with Product Marketing on overall security go-to-market planning and associated sales plays/campaigns.
- Support Federal field marketing as a security thought leader, including speaking and facilitating events.
- Present external webinars (hot topics, current events/news) as well as speak at conferences and partner events and/or write articles/blogs to raise brand awareness demonstrating cybersecurity thought leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience.
- Experience as a CISO, CIO, CTO, CSO is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of the cybersecurity market and domain. CyberSecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP) is a plus.
- Experience with the US Federal government supporting their cybersecurity requirements and an understanding of non-secure Agency nuances is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related field desired.
- Demonstrated experience coaching peers, leaders, direct reports, and business partners
- Extremely strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical skills, Excel & PowerPoint expertise aimed at facilitating executive level summaries.
- Demonstrated willingness to take risks and make adjustments quickly.
- Travel: estimated 50% (post-pandemic)
