Role Overview

The purpose of this position is to Operate CNC machines, such as lathes, mills, to machine production and prototype parts and be able write and edit CNC programs. Must be able to design/create tools and tooling requirements.

Key Responsibilities

-

Responsibilities include machining prototype parts, tool making and design, producing small assemblies, maintaining machinery and tooling, and tracking and recording machine shop inventories.

Aware of practices and processes utilizing current management tools.

Key Requirements

- Prior experience in Programming, set up and operation of CNC Lathes, Mills and other related CNC equipment

- 5-10 years CNC Programming and Machining

- Experience working with exotic metals (nitinol, stainless steels, nickel alloys)

- Experience in Machining medical device components and GMP requirements

- Must be able to read blueprints

- Must be able to write and edit CNC programs

- Medium to advanced computer skills

- Accuracy and attention to detail
