What You'll Get to Do:
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for executing the necessary processes to create and modify SKU's and the completion of SKU related company projects. This position is responsible for ensuring that the proper workflow is followed, and the proper approvals are attained when creating or modifying SKU's. The SKU's this person works with may be for Hardware, Services, and/or Software; or bundles of the same. This person is also responsible for setting up the infrastructure to make sure that all SKU attributes can be entered and maintained in SAP and/or Salesforce.com
- Collaborate with solutions sales and product/category heads in order to create new SKU's, change details (i.e. pricing, hierarchy, vendor) on existing SKU's, and manage the product lifecycle status on all SKU's. Also work with channel managers and channel partners in order to publish pricing lists of Panasonic's catalog. The SKU's worked with can be Hardware, Software, Service and/or Bundles. For service and software SKU's, the SKU Governance Analyst must work with the Finance department in order to ensure adequate profitability
- Ensure that SAP and Salesforce.com has complete, cohesive data.
- Run integrity checks and audits on the data in order to ensure that it is accurate.
- Work on projects that are designed to increase automation, reduce errors, and improve speed and efficiency within the SKU governance process.

What You'll Bring:
Scope:
- This position will be an P1-P3 level, depending on level of experience of the candidate, with a corresponding salary band.
- This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain
- This position will have 0 full time direct reports
- This position may have contractor and/or co-ops as reports
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, data management, business administration, or a related field desired
- Minimum of 2 years working in a Data Governance function, or equivalent course work.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.com
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLookups, and other advanced formulas
- Experience with SQL Server desired
- Experience with Python is a plus
- 2+ years of experience working with a CRM system such as Sales Logix or Salesforce.com
- Ability to take calls and answer e-mails after hours on a regular basis
Problem Solving:
- Ability to answer questions in a high-pressure environment from sales people
- Ability to enforce process compliance with price changes, data privacy, and new SKU's
Communications:
- Ability to work with Factory Planners in Japan and Taiwan to ask and answer questions on new SKU's
- Ability to work and negotiate with groups where English is not their first language
- Ability to answer questions from sales people in a high pressure environment
- Ability to work with Material Master Governance group at the Panasonic North America Corporate level
- Ability to enforce audit compliance with multiple groups
Other Requirements:
- Work will be performed in an office environment
- Infrequent travel for training or development meetings may be required (less than 5%)
