Job Description:

As an IT Quality Engineering Services (QES) Medi-Cal & Medicare, Enrollment, Product, and Automation Sr. Quality Engineer design, develop, and execute automation and manual testing in Integration, Functional and Regression testing team covering QA functions across multiple applications like Facets custom & core configuration, EDI, interfaces.

Responsibilities:

* Experience in testing Facets core applications, e.g. Enrollment, Membership, Billing, Claims, Medicare and Medi-Cal, Healthcare Mandates, etc.
* Good knowledge of 270, 271, 276, 277, 278, 820, 834, 835 and 837 EDI and X12 transactions.
* Review requirements documents, system concept documents and functional and technical design documents.
* Analyze business use cases and technical design specs in order to create test cases and test scenarios.
* Hold walkthroughs for Test Plans and Test Scripts with the IT team, 3rd party vendors and business partners.
* Communicate testing status and risk mitigation plans to project leadership.
* Maintain and monitor defect tracking tool (Jira), overseeing identification and problem/defect resolution.
* Prepare step-by-step test cases with details. Execute test cases manually or using automation.
* Validate data at both the file layout and the back-end database.
* Analyze defects and report defects to development teams.
* Coordinate and manage testing effort between 3rd party vendors, internal IT teams, and Business Units.
* Support QE Lead with test results and status communication to the project team.
* Support development and implementation of quality assurance standards, processes, and procedures based upon applicable SDLC methodology.
* Work with the development team and project managers on resource and schedule issues.
* Evaluate production readiness of project delivery by validating and documenting the completion of testing and development.
* Work with cross-functional teams of quality engineers to develop creative and innovative automated testing solutions.

* 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or related field
* 3 + years Healthcare IT industry experience, especially in electronic health records and related systems.
* 3+ years of working experience on Facets application in Enrollment, Membership, Billing, Claims, Product, Clinical Editing.
* Working experience on multiple applications and software such as Facets, MEET, EDI, Tidal, Book of Records, Oracle, SQL Developer, Sterling, Salesforce, WinSCP, HP ALM, Atlassian Confluence and JIRA
* Comprehensive knowledge of software testing techniques and methodologies.
* Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills
* Prior experience leading QE efforts on a strategic project. Strong project management skills to effectively manage QE resources and timeline.
* Experience with Java, Python, Groovy, or any programming languages.
* Should be able to prioritize and manage multiple portfolios
* Working knowledge of Linux, Unix, Windows platform.
* Automation experience using Selenium, TestNG, or UFT
* Working knowledge of Agile methodology
* Good communication skills.

Preferred skills:

* At least 1 to 2 years of professional experience in programming (including scripting /coding), SQL and relational databases, and application development
* Experience with one or more Robotic Process Automation technologies (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)

Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
