JOB TITLE: HR Generalist/Administrator

POSITION IS: Hourly

JOB SUMMARY: The HR Administrator job duties are to provide HR support on day to day basis to our communities and staff within the organization

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our employees with human resources questions; such as benefits, sick, vacation, 401(k), work comp, and complete employee requests in an efficient manner.


  • Monitor and manage COVID-19 questions to ensure timely responses to inquiries and issues. Update spreadsheet regularly and distribute to supervisors weekly.


  • Participate in employee orientation, including communication of benefits with employees and coordinating online enrollments.


  • Knowledgeable in general employment law; including EEO, Cal-Osha, ADA, FMLA/CFRA, PDL and other state and federal requirements.


  • Assist with LOA requests and paperwork as needed.


  • Conduct workplace investigations.


  • Conduct exit interviews in a timely manner, summarize findings, and discuss feedback with senior management.


  • Assist with workers compensation claims and record & maintain a record of injuries using the OSHA No. 300 form.


  • Responsible for maintaining company cell phones-invoices, binders, phone orders, activations, etc.


  • Maintain DMV information and update as needed.


  • Monitor auto insurance for employees.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must be Bilingual. (English/Spanish)


  • Work remotely (Temporary due to COVID-19)


  • 3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.


  • Strong understanding of current Employment and Labor Laws


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.


  • Ability to perform intermediate level mathematical calculations.


  • Ability to work independently, plan, organize, and effectively prioritize work.


  • Computer skills, including internet use, email, word and excel.


  • Paycom experience a plus.


  • Ability to stay focused and organized under pressure.


  • Physical ability to bend, stretch, stand, sit, and walk for period up to three hours before taking a break.
