EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Private Business Service (PBS) practice. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional service. Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Looking for professional who can work independently and due to current company protocol may need to work from home.

EisnerAmper s PBS professionals work with family owned or closely held businesses of all sizes. You will be working along with the PBS team to prepare financial statements, compilations and reviews. You will also prepare corporate, partnership and individual tax returns.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Preparation of financial statements (reviews and compilations)

* Preparation and review of Tax returns (1040, 1120C, 1120S, and 1065)

* Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationship with firm leadership

* Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines

* Brainstorm new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems

* Mentor and coach junior team members

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY

* Bachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting (Masters/5 year degree preferred

* Knowledge of Xero

* 3+ years recent public accounting experience

IDEALLY, YOU'LL ALSO HAVE

* CPA

* Strong MS Excel and MS Word are required

* Strong time management and organizational skills

* Great attitude and strong work ethic

* Great communication and analytical skills

* Audit experience preferred

* Pension plan experience is a plus

* CCH Engagement & Prosystems experience

* BNA Tax Planning, Go Systems FX, XCM, Quickbooks and other accounting software experience.

This role can sit in Iselin NJ, Miami FL, Syosset or New York City, NY
